Abstract:From the pre-Qin to the Han Dynasty, regardless of literary works or folklore, the mulberry activities and female images often appear together, and the “picking mulberry women” become cultural symbols with specific connotations. As a well-known picking mulberry woman in "Mo Shang Sang", Luo Fu is not only a concrete image of literary expression, but also a vivid case of the cultural connotation of women's clothing in the Han Dynasty. Apparel culture is an organic part of the social life system. The picking mulberry women are placed in the specific time and space context of the Han Dynasty. On the basis of comprehensively combing the existing image data, the characteristics of the explicit aspects of the female costumes in the Han Dynasty and the characteristics of the invisible level are interpreted the clothing culture, social culture and values.
