Abstract:In the early years of auto industry, it was very rare for auto companies to implement regenerations of car styling. In 1950s, planned obsolescence in the USA had greatly accelerated the development of regenerations of car styling. In 1970s, the appearance of some classic cars indicated the maturation period of regenerations of car styling. Regenerations of car styling should keep up with the trend of the times, reflect the market position of cars and inherit some family styling languages.
