Abstract:Through investigating a large number of nearly 100 American families and more than 260 large supermarkets and professional audio and video shops in more than 20 cities, this article analyzes the characteristics of the packaging design of digital audio and video products in the United States. A clever use of simple packaging decoration and personality of the application notation, a group package and detailed background information, privacy design and protection applied mechanism, an open market and perfect protection mechanism is the solid wings to the prosperity of the cultural market, all of these are the obvious characteristics of the digital audio and video products packaging design, and all of these are worth learning by the weaker excessive packaging and protection mechanism of the Chinese market. The prosperity and health of the cultural market is one of the solid foundations for the development and prosperity of the whole society and even the country.
