The traditional ethnic costumes are the important source of modern fashion design in China. Taking the local designer in Xinjiang, Sun Xiuqin as an example, analysing the innovation on materials, redesign of decoration, deformation for pattern and color design to give the traditional minority decoration with new vitality and showing the panorama of culture of costumes in Xinjiang by breaking the boundaries of every minorities and the comprehensive use of decoration of clothes in Xinjiang ethnic minorities.
