In the industrial era, we have made great achievements. But it has also brought an unprecedented crisis: environmental degradation, resources depletion, national and regional development imbalance and regional political instability. Even deeper crisis is cultural diversity and traditional culture disappearance, sense of the value of human existence and significance loss. In the post-industrial era, these crises become more increasingly apparent. Design phenomenology tells us how to deal with the relationship between science, technology, natural environment and human being, how to pursuit a sense of value of human existence and sense of meaning from living world.
