Paiwan tribe is one of themost developed group in creating ob-jects of art among the Taiwan's indigenous communities .The design and manufacture of paiwan tribe's divination props box s h ows t h e u n i q u e a r t i s t i c c h a r m a n d paiwans' pious primitive belief, they have been showing their wisdom of combined their own survival environment with the choice of the creation design. In this paper, the writer analysised and studied the modelling of paiwan's divination props box and it's decorative design, production materials and process, design connotation a n d o t h e r a s p e c t s , t o s u m m a r i z e t h e Paiwan's divination props box's ethnic cul-tural information and the clever way of handling implements' design.
