Paiwan tribe is one of themost developed group in creating objects of art among the Taiwan's indigenous communities .The design and manufacture of paiwan tribe's divination props box shows the unique artistic charm and paiwans' pious primitive belief, they have been showing their wisdom of combined their own survival environment with the choice of the creation design. In this paper, the writer analysised and studied the modelling of paiwan's divination props box and it's decorative design, production materials and process, design connotation and other aspects, to summarize the Paiwan's divination props box's ethnic cul tural information and the clever way of handling implements' design.
