Monuments are a city's mark, Nanjing's monuments have a profound cultural region. This paper mainly discusses the visual presentation practice of the cultural symbols in the handmade maps from three aspects: creative content, expression forms and color orientation, with a view to creat a handmade maps with Nanjing characteristics, will better shape the cultural image of the city under the banner Cultural Ancient Capital, Harmonic Nanjing City, and promote the cultural transmission of Nanjing.
