Abstract:As a unique textile craft of Tujia, Xilankapu has strong local characteristics and ethnic customs in color selection. Taking the genus sylvestris in the traditional pattern of Xilankapu in the Youshui river basin of Xiangxi as the research object, the paper analyzes the source, symbolic features and color aesthetics of the genus. There are artistic features that use the blue bottom, and combine the graphic symbols and color features of the Yangque into the design practice, thus continuing the transformation and inheritance of the national pattern of the gorse.
