Gilbert & George are a pair of gay artists with great artistic talents. They are different from other artists in some ways. This article begins with an introduction to Gilbert & George’s art and life experiences from the “slums” in the East End of London, and conducts an interview study on the social implications of Gilbert & George’s art, and further analyzes Gilbert & George’s work by analyzing the artist’s work.
