Abstract:Nanxie Village in Shuangjiang County, Yunnan Province, is a village inhabited by the Brown and Wa ethnic groups, and the tripe-like quilt handicraft in Nanxie Village has realized a two-way transmission between the Brown and Wa ethnic groups. As an intermediate medium of communication and interaction between ethnic groups, the tripe-like quilt handicraft receives modifications from the Brown and Wa in the process of dissemination, gradually forming a process with creative features. In the process of continuous adaptation, the design transformation of the tripe-like quilt handicraft begins to sprout, which provided a realistic basis for thinking about the further design transformation and development of local handicrafts.
